As winter slowly approaches in a little village in the South of France, Junior, a young and intrepid ladybug is accidentally trapped in a parcel that is shipped off to Guadeloupe, in the Caribbean, far away from home.

His father has no choice if he wants to rescue his son and bring him home safe and sound: he must cross the Atlantic Ocean to an unknown land that has many surprises in store for him...

This new world is a place for unusual encounters. A community of local ladybugs, a hypnotic praying mantis, some offbeat caterpillars or a group of eccentric crabs are just a few of the wild characters our heroes must deal with. This surprising alliance of exotic creatures must join forces to deal with a much bigger threat... The luxuriant paradise these colorful characters call home is threatened by humans who want to appropriate this island paradise to build a hotel resort.

The ladybug and his son have to face a new challenge: save their fellow creatures' home from deforestation. This is quite a tall order for our heroes, but they know they can count on their new Caribbean friends for help. Not to mention the unwavering loyalty of their friends the black spider and Mandible, the black ant, who are ready to face any danger to come to the rescue of their friends on the other side of the Ocean.
