At just ten years old, Leo escapes from a foster home, determined to find her own path. On the road, she collides with Lou, a gruff loner with a knack for trouble. What begins as Lou’s reluctant attempt to “do the right thing” and take her home quickly turns into something else entirely – Leo has, unknowingly, recruited him as her unwitting partner on a runaway journey toward a fishing competition.
